Behind it all ...

...your hosts give their best in their own very different ways:

After managing his own company in Vienna for four decades Martin Röder decided to "drop-out" of that scene and "drop-in" to a new life! With his main interests in water, animals and hunting for mushrooms, he's now an organic-farmer, farm-hand and care-taker for his sheep, chickens, rabbits and fish.

Maureen Devine, on the other hand is an American of Irish descent who has lived in Austria for decades. Recently retired from her profession as university lecturer she now divides her time as an organic-farmer, gardener, herbalist interested in wild herbs of the area - and of course an avid reader/"Bookworm"!

Since 2005, they have been sharing their nature-paradise with vacation guests with similar interests.
AND both of them love cooking up a good breakfast for their guests like you - what you like, when you like it.

How they acquired Hojoutz - or better how Hojoutz found them - is quite another story; perhaps one saved for warm summer evenings around the fireplace on the terrace with a glass of good wine!
