Vacation – and finally time to really lay back and enjoy reading! For book-lovers we and Bibliotels offer the perfect ambiente under the motto "travel while reading, read while traveling"…

And at the same time you can enjoy the setting, the lakes and mountains and the holiday infrastructure of Carinthia in southern  Austria.

And by the way, Naturhof Hojoutz was awarded a "4-book" quality certification by Bbibliotels (Bibliotels quality management) because of our excellent service and our special reading amenities, and awarded "4 Sails" (Wörthersee quality management) for our luxury furnishing and amenities and personal service.

Martin and Maureen, herself an avid reader, literary critic and author /editor of several books, have selected more than 700 books from their considerable collection to be available to guests: non-fiction about nature, gardening and gardens, classics of German and English literature, contemporary fiction in English and German, myths and legends, children’s books as well as a few audiobooks. > Library Collection

Special reading retreats around the farmstead

With reading in mind we have created a couple of special areas around the farm to enhance your comfort while reading: the "Huck Finn" raft, "The Name of the Rose" garden, "On Golden Pond" dock, "The Promise of the Well" patio, etc. (Check this on our site plan below!). Not to forget our cozy open library-sitting room… or wander up to the "Penthouse" book in hand.

Reading accessories

Forgot your glasses? No problem – we have reading glasses in reserve, as well as other accessories like book props and reading blankets to keep you warm and comfy - nothing like cuddling up on the sofa with a good book, right?
